Yes, I know this website is really out of date, but I am still actively teaching and producing new artwork. I will once again be at the Cool Art Show in St Petersburg FL, July 18-19 and Fine Art at the Magnolia in Lakeland FL, August 22-23. And classes continue at the Dunedin Fine Art Center and the Herrig Center for the Arts in Bradenton, as well as workshops in various other locations.

Melissa Miller Nece is regarded as one of the foremost colored pencil artists in the US. Her enthusiasm and humor have made her a favorite speaker for arts groups, and she has inspired many others to try colored pencils through her classes and workshops. Her work has been published in national magazines and numerous books on colored pencil and portraiture.
