Melissa Miller Nece is regarded as one of the foremost colored pencil artists in the US. Her enthusiasm and humor have made her a favorite speaker for arts groups, and she has inspired many others to try colored pencils through her classes and workshops. Her work has been published in national magazines and numerous books on colored pencil and portraiture.

I'm excited about this new museum and I'm investigating about being a member of it. I'm also a new member of CSPA and just submitted a work for CSPA's International exhibition. I may become a member of one of CSPA's district chapters soon.
I've been following your work (it goes far back as Mainsail in the late 90s). Colored pencil was an unknown entity then, but thanks to you, it has been elevated to an amazing international level now.
I used to work primarily in graphite (along with Louise Cherwak, my mother), but I've departed into color and I'm loving what colored pencil can do! I've linked this site as one of my faves. Thanks Melissa!
